Paneer recipie.. How to make Soft Paneer at home

Hello Foodies! Lets Start today with a most common yet very important recipie Paneer. Paneer or cottage cheese is a very important ingredient to veg cuisine. Paneer can be made either as a dry curry or as a gravy. It can be enjoyed with spinach,geeen pees, capsicum or with mushroom etc.

You can make several paneer dishes with store bourght paneer or you can make them at home also. But I personally recommend to make them at home as they are much cheaper than store and at the same time hygienic too. So without wasting much time lets check its recipie.

Ingredients:-

Milk-1ltr
Lemon juice/vinegar-2tbsp
Water-1tbsp
Cream-100 ml(this ingredient is totally optional and please use only if you want cream paneer )
This quantity milk ll yield 250gms of paneer

Procedure:-

Take a deep bottom add milk and heat by continuously stirring them to avoid burning. When u see that your milk has started boiling lower the flame and geat it for 5 more minutes and then add cream and boil for 2 minutes. 
In a small bowl add lemon juice and mix with water and add it to the boiling milk and stir slowly to avoid large lumps. When you see that your milk has started separating from the whey stop adding lemon juice. Take a big size bowl add a big strainer and add a muslin cloth or a cotton cloth and add the paneer and squeeze it as much as you can. There should not be a little water inside. To squeeze the exact water keep the bowl underneath add a strainer the cloth with paneer and put some weight on it. Keep this like 5-6 hours and your paneer is ready to use. Cut it and use.
