Curd. How to set thick Curd at home

Curd...Homemade Thick Curd Recipie is the next recipie I ll post on my blog. But before I start let me explain you its benefits.



So lets Define it:-

Curd also known as yoghurt is fermented product made from milk. It has sweet sour taste when fresh but becomes very sour and acidic if kept for long time. Curd which we make in our home is very different from youghurt which is available in western countries or outside India.
Lets check its recipie without wasting so much time.

Ingredients:-

Milk-2ltr
Milk powder -1/4th cup
Curd-1tbsp

Procedure:-

Heat milk on high flame by stirring continuosly untill it reaches to its boiling point. After that mix milk powder and let it boil on low flame for 5 minutes. Now let it coll for 5 minutes and then in a casserole or any big bowl with lid add the milk and mix 1tbsp curd and let it set for a minimum of 8 hours. Overnight is best.
