Chilli Chicken is undeniably the most popular Chinese chicken recipe. This easy-to-make Chicken recipe is a perfect go-to recipe for desi-Chinese lovers. Chilli Chicken can be prepared as a dry snack, which is a popular party starter. You can also prepare it as a thick spicy gravy, which tastes best when served with Pan Fried Noodles. Here’s how you can make this quick chicken recipe at home using easily available ingredients: Chicken chunks, finely chopped capsicums, spring onions, green chilies, garlic and ginger, vinegar and cornflour. Give it a stir with a dash of salt, pepper and soya sauce. If you want to make it more colorful add some bell peppers to this chicken recipe.

Ingredients:-

Chicken boneles cubes-500gm
Garlic-5tbsp finely chopped
Ginger-2tbsp finely chopped
Capsicum- 3 cut into cubes
Onions-1 medium sized cut into petals
Green chillies-1tsp finely chopped
Soya Sauce-2tsp
Ketchup-2tbsp
Chilli sauce-2tbsp
Red chilli powder-1tsp
Egg-1
Corn flour-4tbsp
All purpose flour-2tbsp
Vinegar-2tsp
Spring onion greens-2tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying.

Procedure:-

In a bowl add chicken cubes,salt and 1tsp vinegar and marinate for a minimum of 2 hours.
Overnight is always best.
After 2 hours add an egg into the marination and 2tbsp all purpose flour and 2 tbsp cornflour and mix well.
Heat oil in a deep kadhai and fry the chicken cubes.
Once your pakoras are ready. 
Drain oil into a tissue paper and keep aside.
On the other hand, add oil into the pan.
Add chopped chillies,garlic and ginger and stir well. 
Add capsicum and onions and fry for another 5 minutes.
Add ketchup and chilli sauce and red chilli powder and stir for 2 minutes.
Add soya sauce and mix for 2 minutes.
Mix 2tbsp corn flour in 1/4th cup water and mix well.
Add it to the sauce and mix well.
Add the chicken pakoras.
Let it bubble on medium heat for 5 minutes.
Garnish with spring onion greens.
Serve with roti, parathas or fried rice.
