Chocolate Tea
Chocolate Tea is a great tea and a change to normal tea.
The one who brought this concept is Bijoy Seal.
Standing meekly in front of Rabindra Sarobar metro station gate 6, is a small tea shop called Tripti. It is a small, nondescript stall nestled near the footpath and one can easily look past it while crossing the place – but not anymore! You will find a small crowd lining up to buy tea from this stall at any point of the day. Why, you ask? Because this is the only roadside stall in Kolkata that sells chocolate tea!
If you haven’t heard about it before (we’re sure you must have, by now), Tripti tea stall serves chocolate tea among other chocolaty drinks and it has taken the city by rage!
Chocolate tea, chocolate coffee, malai tea, tulsi tea, ayurvedic tea and more.
Right in front of Rabindra Sarobar metro station gate number 6, and opposite Bhavani cinema.
We also caught up with Bijoy Sil, the owner of the stall. He told us that he’s been selling tea for two years now but the chocolate tea for about two months. On being asked about his inspiration to make such a quirky drink, he said, “In my experience, chocolate tea is only available in high-end cafes and restaurants and I wanted to bring the concept to the middle classes, so that they don’t have to pay a lot to enjoy something like this.”

The chocolate cha is made with cocoa powder, a generous amount of Hershey’s chocolate sauce and topped with chocolate chips.
It does not worth much but only Rs.25 for a small cup when I tried it.
the price may increased now.
But those who are not from kolkata or those who want to try it right at home.
