Homemade Icing Sugar.. How to Make Confectioners’ Sugar Recipe

Icing Sugar.. Confectionery Sugar

To make frosting, royal icing, and macarons, there is one essential ingredient, confectioners’ sugar (= icing sugar). So here goes how to make icing sugar at home.

Ingredients:-

Sugar-1 cup
Corn starch-1tbsp
A good Quality Mixer grinder
Strainer

Procedure:-

Grind sugar in short pulses for 3-4 minutes and you will get powdery texture.
Add the grinded sugar into a big bowl.
Add in corn starch.
Mix well.
Sift them 5-6 times so that no lumps or larger pieces remains into the sugar.
Store in a airtight container and use in your baking.
